Our Staff

During the summer & fall of 2024, Foster Farm Botanicals planted cover crops, which gave our fields time to rejuvenate in preparation for the upcoming season. This year we will be growing 21 different botanicals, and we'll be test-plotting a few special varieties which we’re very excited about.
We also hired two wonderful people to help grow our crop and bring it to market. Introducing Nate Brennan and Tanner Mulberry:

Tanner Mulberry – Grower & Environmental Steward

Tanner Mulberry grew up on an organic potato farm in Idaho, surrounded by large gardens and livestock that nourished his family. This early connection to the land sparked a lifelong passion for sustainable agriculture, environmental stewardship, and working in harmony with nature.

Graduating from the College of Southern Idaho while studying Environmental Science and Chemistry, Tanner has combined hands-on farming experience with a scientific understanding of ecosystems and sustainability. His diverse background includes guiding week-long expeditions on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River, working at Stahlbush Island Farms in Oregon, and managing equipment for a 20,000-acre farm in Southern Idaho. Each of these experiences deepened his appreciation for the natural world and the intricate balance of agriculture and ecology.

Now a grower at Foster Farm Botanicals, Tanner is dedicated to cultivating high-quality medicinal herbs in a way that supports both the environment and the people who rely on them. His commitment to sustainability, land stewardship, and producing healing herbs ensures that every plant is grown with care and integrity.
