Spearmint

Origin: Vermont, USA

Studies have shown spearmint’s great potential in balancing bacteria growth, supporting respiratory health and cooling applications.

Spearmint is a perennial and spreads via underground rhizomes. The herb is very versatile, tolerating wet soil but thriving in hot and dry climates. We grew this herb for the first time in 2020 along with peppermint! The taste is more sweet than other spearmint you might be familiar with. Hotter and drier climates tend to bring out spicier characteristics.

We love enjoying this herb straight in tea or face steams, but it goes great in blends too.
